String players wanted for the Lisiduna Project Orchestra

Are you a violinist, violist, cellist or double bass player with a passion for pop, rock and spectacle? Then this is your chance to play in a major musical event: Top 2000 in concert - 2025 edition.

What?
On Monday 8 December and Tuesday 9 December 2025, the AFAS Theatre in Leusden will be transformed into a vibrant musical arena. Together with a combo, singers, show ballet and well-known artists such as Martin van der Starre, Gwen van Oeveren and others, we will bring classics by Queen, Golden Earring, Tina Turner and Taylor Swift to life. This year, we would like to perform this together with a string ensemble. The whole project will be under the musical direction of Jos Pijnappel.

When are the rehearsals?
The repertoire will be rehearsed in a limited number of rehearsals, mainly on Tuesday evenings in Amersfoort. We will start in mid-October and the dress rehearsal will be on Saturday 6 December (during the day). The music will be provided digitally, as well as audio files for you to study.

When are the concerts?
On Monday 8 December and Tuesday 9 December 2025 at the AFAS Theatre in Leusden.
